As the Criterium course is short with tight turns, dropped riders who are not part of the main peloton will be immediately withdrawn when they are overtaken by the leading runners.
If a breakaway takes a turn on the main pack, it can re-enter the pack with the same rights and obligations as other runners. All riders finish in the same lap as the winner.
For the Men’s Open category (including Junior H, Senior H and Masters H 1-2), all the dually riders will have to leave the circuit as soon as they are overtaken by the race leader.
For the Women’s Open category, all the runners doubled by the race leader remain in the race. The runners doubled by the leading runners have the right to hold on to the peloton and follow the race. However, they can not, under any circumstances, influence the progress of the race, that is to say by clinging to the break, by participating in the final sprint, being at the front of the pack or helping a runner same club.
* FQSC mandatory runner license and one-day compulsory license for the Fixed Gear category – at a cost of $ 20.
